Peanut can kick!

I'm lying in bed on Dec 23rd and Pete's tucking me in (only cause i go to bed so much earlier then him, lol) and I had my hands on my tummy and all of a sudden I felt Peanut move, it was like Peanut had turned on it's side. I told Pete to pull the covers off and put his hands where mine where, waited.... nothing =( So Pete plugs in my heater blanket and he sat back down and waited and FINALLY he felt the baby move, was a small movement but he felt it, was very cool!

On X-mas eve we went to my Mom & Dad's house for dinner and I was on the couch sitting next to Ann (my brother Todd's wife) and I felt the baby move so i had her put her hands on my belly and and as we waited all of a sudden Peanut kicked HARD! Ann squealed and jumped, shit is scarred the crap out of me! Ann and I got teary eyed and she said "I haven't felt a baby kick in a long time and to think that could have been me". If I was unable to get pregnant Ann was going to be our surrogate. It was so awesome to have shared that with her and reminds me of the special bond that Ann and I share, she truely is more like a sister then a sister-in-law.

Detailed Ultrasound Dec 12th 2007

Peter and I went for our detailed Ultrasound today at BC Women's Hospital. This was a lil more exciting cause the baby of has grown so it was all about seeing what changes have there been!

We were hoping to find out the sex of the baby but it all depends on the technician, a mother is more likely to tell you then a male. Well I figured if I got some guy I'd flirt with him and get what I wanted, worked in the past, LOL. So I should of had Pete in a low cut top and flirting cause the tech was male and gay so that was a waste of my flirting, hee hee hee. Probably thinks I'm a wacko (little does he know, lol)

Peanut gave us quite the show. It was kicking and moving it's arms and at one points rolled on it's side so we had a direct view at the face and then... Peanut yawned, awwww.... Peanut is bored with us already, hee hee hee. The freaky part was to see all that movement and NOT feel a thing???

Was so facinating to see at the different working body parts, my favorite was watching the heart. They check for 6 different markers at this point to see if there is any chance of anything wrong with the growth or developement of the baby. Good news, all 6 are negative so the tech told us that if there is a 1 in a 1000 chance that there is chance tht something is wrong, that with all 6 markers being negative then it doubles to 1 in 2000. So are very happy about that.

So he goes to check the placenta and informs me that I do not have enough fluide in my bladder so he has to send in a female tech to do the next part.... well knock my socks off, she put a camera up Sherwood! (for those that do not know, this is a nick name that my Boss of 6 yrs Gail, aka. Mother Tick, has called the female area, LOL) I have to say when I saw the length of the camera I was a little freaked but it's just got a REALLY LONG handle. Oh yeah, did I mention that they put a condom over the camera, HA HA HA, priceless.

So here are the 3 newest pictures of Peanut. Side view, face side view and foot!

Peanut's new Ride!

Well they say good things come to those who wait (or drive a hard bargain, hee hee hee). But after many weeks of searching and looking at Nissan Murano AWD SE fully loaded with leather seats (vomit cleans so nicely of leather then cloth, BA HA HA) we found the one we wanted just to have the salesperson at Dueck sell it without telling us that there was an offer already on it, but then a few weeks later I found the exact same one at Blue Star Motors, with a few more extras (love the dingle & bells) and once we were all said and done we saved, get this... about $9000.00!!! WHOOT!!! So I'm so excited to have saved that kind of money with Peanut on the way.

Love the new ride and so does Pete =D Now we have to get him an upgrade, ha ha ha.

Surgery????

Well so much for a rib being out of place.

And after a visit to my family GP for a mis-diagnoses (claims it was the breast tissue irritated by my under wire on my bra, yeah right).

I saw my OBGYN and he confirmed that it is in deed my Gallbladder. Sent me off for an ultrasound to see exactly what's going on. So no meats, dairy and oil, o.O are you kidding me...what am I going to eat, fruits, veg and TOFU, blah.

They can't due surgery till after Peanut is born so I have to live with this pain for the next 4.5 months =( not happy about that. And it is painful, no matter what I eat it seems to give me grieve, kind like Pete, hee hee hee.

So much for a cake walk pregnancy, I think I spoke too soon, lol.
