Week # 35 and what did the Dr. just say....

I'm sorry but did the Dr say "BREECHED"!!! OH HELL NO!
So there is Pete and I for a routine visit and with it being April Fool's Day praying to God the Dr is joking but he's not =( So I have to go for an ultrasound ASAP and find out what Peanut is up to. Yes Pete and I are nervous, bad enough being first time parents but now the thought of a cesarean is freaked us both out cause we really had not thought this would ever come up.
here is a little info that I found ...
By around 8 months, there's not much room in the uterus. Most babies maximize their cramped quarters by settling in head down, in what's known as a cephalic presentation. But if your baby is breech, it means he's poised to come out buttocks or feet first.

When labor begins at term, nearly 97 percent of babies are set to come out head first. Most of the rest are breech. (In rare cases, a baby will be sideways in the uterus with his shoulder or arm presenting first — this is called a transverse lie.)

So there we have it! Well Pete took the rest of the day off to be together to talk and read about our option and to mentally prepare us for a c-section if need be. I truley am blessed to have him for my partner as he is so supportive and loving.
It was a little overwhelming this morning at the Dr's office when they had me fill out all the surgery forms, even though we may not need them it was stressful non the less.

And here I was thinking the only issue was my sore feet, fat ankles and dizzy spells that have started again, *sigh.

Well off to the ultrasound at 7pm and I get my blood work back tomorrow to see what else is going on but other then being mentally drained we are doing very well. Peanut is so grounded for the rest of his life, LOL. No really I'm so gonna kick his or her ass, ;)

Ultrasound:
Well it's confirmed, Peanut is frank breeched, so bum down and legs straight up the front with his feet above his head (flexible little sucker)!

Here are a few shots that we did get.
