Well it's been one week now that the kids are going to a new daycare just 3 blocks from the house. Day one had a few bumps but other then that they are doing great! Nice to have found a replacement after having Jeevan. She truly is one of the most amazing people I know and a heart of gold. We miss her.
It must be a good sign if Alexis is standing at the top of the stairs shaking the baby gate to get going to daycare! I think the timing has worked out really well. We were very lucky to have had the extra help from Pete's mom for the first 6 months that I was back to work. We couldn't have done it without her. The only sad part is how she took Nate to swimming lessons and Lexi was at the drop in center and then after class they would go pick her up and bring her into the pool. I hope that Nate remembers all that special time with his Nanny.
